We are rich!
Just by proxy of reading this message you are in the top 1% of wealth in our world.
You may not FEEL rich, but by financial standards, you are!
In this series, we will explore what it means to be rich. How to be rich. And how recognizing our wealth prompts us to live lives full of peace, love, and gratitude. Which in turn, fosters even more feelings of wealth/richness.
What are your ideas of God? Religion?
Do they lead you to a place of peace, wholeness, and love?
Or do they lead you to a place feeling judged, isolated, and/or afraid?
During this series we will investigate how scripture influences faith in ways that bring hope and healing rather than judgment, isolation, and fear.
We will deconstruct white Westernized understandings of God, Jesus, and scripture while hopefully providing you with a pathway to construct a faith journey for yourself that will be life-giving. All ideas and questions are welcome.
We will explore spiritual lessons and biblical truths through the lens of some of your favorite films. In this unique series, we will delve into the captivating narratives and compelling characters of popular movies to uncover deep insights that resonate with our faith journey.
