NURSERY
Sunday Morning Childcare for Infants to Age 5
​On Sunday mornings, children from infant to age 5 are welcome to join our nursery where we have a CPR certified caregiver. They hang out, play, and learn together with some fun and interactive activities and toys. When the weather is nice, they sometimes join the bigger kids outside to play!

The nursery worker has their phone on them at all times in case of emergency and the need to get in contact with the parents or guardians. Questions? Please contact Layne at Layne@headingwest.org.
AMPED
In-Person and Online Experiences for Grades K-5
AMPED In-Person
​AMPED In-Person meets every Sunday morning at 10am at Lake Norman High School. We have a faith-based curriculum that teaches stories in the Bible in a fun and interactive way. Kids learn through lessons, games, science experiments, crafts, snacks, and more! We also have outings once a quarter in the community for the kids to get out and have fun! AMPED Online
​AMPED Online is a Kid’s Character Development Program for K-5th graders with a FREE monthly subscription box experience. Once a month, we send out an “AMPED Box” with all of the supplies to follow along with a YouTube episode with interactive science experiments, games, crafts, and cooking segments. Check out our latest episode HERE! You do not have to be local to receive AMPED boxes because we deliver or mail them right to your front door! YOUTH
Engagement for 6th - 12th Grade Students
We are the Unstoppable Youth Group and we are R.E.A.L.! We believe in being Relatable. Engaging. Authentic. Liberating. In our youth group we strive to meet all youth where they are on their faith journey and explore/grow together! The Youth group meets once a month, in person, at the West Church office or various community locations. We host Zooms periodically to connect with Youth unable to meet in person and to get to know one another. At our gatherings, we have a devotion, dinner/snacks, games, missional opportunities, and more. We are a “come as you are” youth group where All Means All. COLLEGE
Care Packages for Students in College, Community College, & Grad School
West strives to have everyone know that they are loved and we are thinking about them, even if they are not local. With that, we like to send our college students care packages throughout the semester!
College students will receive 3 packages each semester containing recipes, ways to stay involved at West, goodies, gift cards, letters, and a few other things to remind them that they are loved and we are thinking about them!
We also reach out to them monthly as “check-ins”! If you want to know more information about our young adult opportunities or want to sign a student up to receive care packages, please contact Layne at layne@headingwest.org.
