LEADERSHIP

West Church is led by real people who genuinely care about this community and the people who make it what it is. We’re not a top-down, church-bureaucracy kind of place. We’re a team - pastors, staff, and volunteers - all working together to live out love, hope, and compassion in ways that actually make a difference.

West was launched by Rev. Dr. Andrea Smith, who still leads with openness, curiosity, and a deep desire to help people grow spiritually without all the religious pressure. She works alongside a Pastor’s Advisory Council and Vision Team made up of thoughtful, grounded lay leaders who help shape direction and keep us connected to the needs of our community.

Our staff team is a mix of full-time, part-time, and unpaid folks (called "unpaid staff") who bring creativity, passion, and their whole hearts to making West a place where everyone feels welcome. They live out our core values and keep us moving forward - from kids and students to music, missions, digital ministry, and everything in between.
