Happy Friday!

First of all, huge thanks to Adam Lumley who knocked it out of the park last Sunday!

Because of the change in dates due to water issue, I did not have a guest speaker lined up for last Sunday. Adam was willing to step in with VERY little notice and from the part I’ve listened to, it was so engaging and informative.

Adam shared with me not too long ago that he was deconstructing . . . . and we’ve walked this faith journey together for about 17 years now, so I knew he’d have valuable words to share! I hope you will click below (as I will be) and hear the entire message!

Honestly, the more I study, the more I learn. And I’m looking forward to sharing it with you on Sunday. I had this huge “ah-ha” this week regarding “Jesus” and “Christ.” I’ve read about it for years but never quite wrapped my head around it. After this week’s study, I think I finally understand what Rohr and others have been talking about for years! I can’t wait to share it with you.

As much as we may find the need to deconstruct religion, or even be “done” with parts of it, there are so many beautiful things about spirituality, yes – religion, and the body of the Church.

It’s a relationship. A community. Something we do together.

In the rest of today’s enews, there are MULTIPLE ways that you can be a part of West. (That’s what makes it a relationship. We are here for you, you are here for the body of the church).

Please take a minute, support the serve day tomorrow at Mooresville Christian Mission.

OR . . . .

Serve at the Halloween Extravaganza (which will be on a Sunday morning during “church” hours).

OR . . . .

EVERYONE KNOWS AT LEAST ONE PERSON who plays golf.

PLEASE support the golf tournament. It will help us financially support our Uganda campus and AMPED. Send them this email and invite them to sign up to play. We have REALLY cool prizes!

I hope you have a great weekend! It’s beautiful weather outside . . . and a beautiful life that we have a chance to live. Let’s make the best of it!

Grace and Peace,

Andrea
