Since the decision was made to temporarily suspend the Pig Out Food Truck service on January 12, 2021, the West Faith Community began asking, “What is going to be done to care for the hungry? We understand the pandemic, but are we just going to stop caring for the people?”
Andrea Smith, Pastor of West Church, began asking . . .
“West Church . . .Can we, will we, work together to find a solution?” Read the article here.
This Feeding Plan is born of your thoughtfulness and generosity for loving others.
You have the opportunity to give back locally by serving meals at Park View School on Sundays! We have partnered with Taste of Buffalo Pizzeria to help food to the Mooresville community.
Here is how you can feed people in the Lake Norman Community. Serving is fun, safe, and easy!
Each week it takes one captain, three servers, and 125 dessert donations.
Team Captin: Oversee the week and recruiting volunteers to help serve. Facilitate meals to serve while showing courtesy and kindness to volunteers and guests.
Servers: Show up at Park View School at 11:00 am Sunday. Help in final preparation and begin serving from 11:30 am -12:30 pm.
Dessert Donations: Purchase or cook enough desserts for 125 people. Communicate with Preston on how best to get them to the location.
All ages are welcome to serve!
“You’ve Been Egged” AMPED Kids West Church – Easter Mission
In honor of Easter, we are offering an egging!
Amped leaders and the West Church Faith Community are going to “egg” houses by bringing plastic-filled Easter eggs to houses of nominated families. We will hide them around the yard or put them by the door in hope to spread joy this season!
Share the joy of Easter with a family by nominating families who doesn’t have a church home and could benefit from what Amped offers!
