“Let Them”
In life—and let’s be honest, especially in relationships—we tend to hold on tight.
We try to manage the people around us, fix the things we don’t like, and maybe even love someone hard enough that they’ll change. But here’s the truth: that kind of control exhausts us. It keeps us anxious, resentful, and constantly disappointed.
What if peace doesn’t come from trying harder…
But instead from letting go?
This series—Let Them —is all about learning what happens when we finally loosen our grip. Inspired by Mel Robbins’ “Let Them” mindset and anchored in deep biblical wisdom, we’ll explore how to stop carrying what was never ours in the first place.
Each week, we’ll look at the ways even Jesus let people walk away.
We’ll talk about:
- Being misunderstood and not rushing to defend yourself
- Standing in truth without needing everyone to agree
- Blessing people who exit your life—without bitterness
- Staying grounded in love when judgment flies your way
- And discovering how freeing it is to show up as your actual self
This isn’t about giving up or cutting people off.
It’s about making sacred space—for them to be who they are, and you to return to yourself.
As Richard Rohr says, “The greatest spiritual practice is learning to let go.”
It sounds scary… until you realize what’s on the other side.
