We are in the beginning of our series leading up to Christmas, “Bright Spots,” remembering the promises of God that carry us through our journey and recognizing how these promises were revealed through the Christmas story.

YOU are a bright spot of West.

Because of you, West is a faith community where all are welcome and we continually seek to give ourselves away.

On this Giving Tuesday, we want to thank you for your faithful support in 2023. We are excited to set goals and cast vision for 2024.

The projections of the staff and PAC Team have us setting a budget for 2024 that is $456,000. This is a “Keep the Lights On” budget, meaning no growth or new ministries, just maintaining the ministries of 2023.

Currently, West has 81 family units that support our budget in a recurring, digital manner.

We have over 100 families that call West “home.” Based on recurring giving in 2023, we will receive approximately $380,600 in 2024.

This leaves a deficit of $75,400.

We have a vision for how to achieve this deficit.

If you, a West supporter, would be willing to take a step in your generosity, we can achieve our goal. If we all take a step, imagine the ministry we can accomplish.

Whether it is $5 a month or $500, any amount matters.

What could West look like in 2024? You have the privilege and power to set that vision. We hope you will join us as we move forward together.

We invite you to click here to commit to taking a deeper step in your gratitude to God for all that God provides.

Speaking of promises and hope –

I can promise you one thing. It isn’t guilt or bribery, it’s truth.

Over the past 13 years that I’ve served as the lead pastor of West, I’ve wrestled with giving.

I had my own financial struggles. When I “cut back” on my giving, it seemed that I couldn’t catch a financial break. I ended up going in bigger and bigger holes.

When I remembered that as a leader, my calling was to be faithful and lead with boldness and courage through sacrificial giving, weird things happened.

I always had “more than enough” money to do what I needed and often, wanted.

Giving to God never compromises you financially.

We will be sharing weekly over the month of December our status in achieving our goal!

Thank you for your consideration!

Grace and Peace,

Andrea

Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
