Burke County Relief – Sunday’s Mission Offering

Our neighbors in Burke County experienced tornadoes recently and are in dire need of help. Their District Superintendent emailed all the Methodist Churches and has put out a plea for help! They had many lose all they had and only $1000 in relief monies have been provided. I’ve contacted him to see if there is something “physical” we could do to help but I would also like us to designate our “mission” offering (that is above and beyond our normal tithe offering) on Sunday to go to the Burke County tornado relief efforts.
